4 Tips To Make Cleaning Your Bathroom A Breeze

About Me
Hiring A Professional Cleaning Company

After we bought a foreclosure, I knew that we were going to need a little help with the place. The entire upstairs was covered in garbage, and the bathrooms looked like they had never been cleaned. It was discouraging, and I was worried about the place being unsafe for my children. I realized that I couldn't tackle the job on my own, so I started looking into hiring a professional cleaning service. I found a great cleaning company that could come out and begin work right away. They were amazing to work with, and they worked fast. This blog is all about why you should hire a professional cleaning service.

Cleaning your bathroom can easily be one of the most time and labor consuming parts of cleaning your home. Here are four tips that will turn cleaning your bathroom into a breeze.

#1 Combat Soap Scum With Dryer Sheets

One of the hardest things to get rid of in your bathroom is soap scum. Soap scum seems to stick to the tile and surfaces in your shower and seems to be resistant to most bathroom cleaners.

Instead of scrubbing away at the soap scum that is on your tile bathtub or shower, try out this trick. Spray the area where the soap scum has accumulated with a little water. Then, take a dry sheet and scrub the area with a circular motion. Next, take some water and rinse off the area. Most of the soap scum should be gone. Repeat until you have no more soap scum left. When the dryer sheet starts to break down, switch to a new one.

#2 Use Baking Soda To Clean Your Tile & Grout

The second hardest thing to get rid of in your bathroom is the mildew and mold that is constantly trying to take hold in your shower and bathtub. You can combat the mold and mildew and clean your shower or bathtub at the same time by sprinkling baking soda over the area, then scrub it with a wet scrub brush before rinsing the area. The baking soda will kill the mold and mildew and clean your tile at the same time.

You can also use this cleaning method on your bathroom counters and floor as well. Baking soda is a great natural cleaning product that is very versatile.

#3 Fight Hard Water Stains With White Vinegar

If your toilet bowl is full of hard water stains, just take about a cup of white vinegar and pour it into the toilet bowl before you go to bed and allow the vinegar to sit overnight. Then, in the morning before you use your toilet, give it a little scrub. The hard water stains should easily come off now.

#4 Use Lemon To Break Down Tub Gunk

Finally, if there is any remaining junk in your tub that you just can't seem to get rid of, cut open a lemon and rub it on the surface where that gunk and grime is located, then wash the area with some warm water. This should remove the grime in no time. You can also try this trick on your sink.

Use one or all of these steps the next time you have to tackle cleaning your bathroom; you'll be amazed at how quickly you can clean your bathroom when you know all the right tools and tricks. Contact a business, such as Superior Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Inc, for more information.
